Categories PROFESSIONAL:
STYLES
1- Oriental /Mejance /Folk style or Fusion Folk: Props are very important in UAE scene. Maximum 3 props/elements permitted per dance.
2- Lebanese Style : Performers must dance on High Heels.
General Guidelines

Each category has a maximum of 15 participants. Register in advance to avoid disappointment.

Participants may enter multiple categories, but each requires a separate registration form.

Participants need a registration number in order to register for the competition. You get your registration number by signing up for full package or a la carte workshops/events minimum spend 1000 aed.

Registration closes by April 15th, 2026 or until sold out.

Medley is permitted. Music mix is allow as long as the music is naturally cut, without jumps or differences in volume.

Music files must be submitted in MP3 format via email by April 15th, 2026.

Each performance must adhere to the specified time limits and STYLE requirements.

Competition Day Saturday 25th April, 2026. Participants must arrive 1 hour before their scheduled performance time.

Costumes must be appropriate, culturally respectful, and align with the chosen STYLE.

Music duration 3. minutes maximum

Professional performances exceeding the specified time limits will result in point deductions and music being cut off at 3.10 minutes.

Use of choreographies from other teachers/dancers & coaching from teachers must be specified on registration. Failing to do so it may result on disqualification.

The audience will be mix. NOT LADIES ONLY.
Evaluation Criteria

Costume: Creativity, cultural alignment, and presentation

Musicality: Timing, rhythm, and connection to the music

Technique: Execution of movements and use of props
-
Stage Attitude: Confidence, charisma, engagement with the audience, and overall stage presence.
Judging and Results
-
Scores will be based on a detailed evaluation by a panel of professional judges.

Decisions by the judges are final and cannot be contested.
-
Selected dancers in professional categories may be contacted for interviews by agencies and managers.

Bellydancer agencies will be in attendance during the competition.
-
The event holds no responsibility for any contracts or agreements made.
-
Securing a contract to perform in Dubai is not guaranteed for winners.

RISING STARS COMPETITION (ONLY LADIES)
Categories RISING STARS
1- Oriental/BELLYDANCE: Costume & Choreography must adhere to the chosen style.
